The external parameters generally used in the traditional processing of materials and modification of their properties are temperature, pressure and time. At the same time numerous experimental data reasonably indicate that electrical and magnetic fields affect material mechanical properties and therefore the behaviour of mechanical systems, and have significant potential for use in materials processing. That is why there is a continuing interest to this kind of treatment. Some applications of electromagnetic fields for enhancement of structural metal performance will be introduced in this presentation.

Published 1 book, 4 patents and 1 patent application and more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
